The Team
Orchai Tech was founded in Poznań in 2022. We started as two engineers who had spent years inside mid-sized companies watching automation projects fail at the integration layer. We build agents the way we would have wanted someone to build them for us: into the stack you have, not the stack someone thinks you should have.
Krzysztof Walenda
Krzysztof spent eight years as a backend engineer at logistics and fintech companies in Warsaw and Amsterdam before founding Orchai Tech. His background is in distributed systems and API design — specifically the parts that break when you run them at scale with real, inconsistent data.
He designs the decision logic and integration architecture for every agent Orchai ships. He wrote the company's internal framework for agent boundary definition, which is the basis of the scoping process used with clients.
Marta Zakrzewska
Marta worked in operations consulting for six years, first at a mid-size management consultancy in Poznań and later independently across EU manufacturing and professional services clients. Her focus was process documentation and tool evaluation — specifically understanding why the processes organisations think they run are not the processes they actually run.
At Orchai Tech she handles client discovery, workflow design, and the human-in-the-loop checkpoints that prevent agents from making expensive mistakes. She also writes most of the Field Notes.
Small on purpose
We are not scaling to a 50-person agency. Every engagement is handled directly by Krzysztof and Marta — no junior developers building things they have not shipped before, no project managers between you and the people writing the code. You know who to call if something breaks.
We take between two and four active projects at a time. This is not a constraint we are working to remove — it is the reason quality stays consistent.
We have turned down work. If a project is not clearly viable, or if a client's timeline does not give us enough room to do it right, we say so. A failed agent deployment costs more than a delayed one.
Our clients are mostly operations and technical leads at EU-based companies in manufacturing, professional services, and SaaS. We are based in Poznań and work remotely across the EU.
